It truly takes many hands to make the magic of prom happen for high school teens throughout San Diego County and beyond! Below are our current volunteer opportunities for this Spring, including our upcoming dress giveaways!

Dress Store Organization

Saturday, March 14th

Participate In A Dress Store Organization Day Or Giveaway

Create (or re-live!) prom memories by volunteering to help get our dress store ready for giveaways, or on a dress giveaway day! Our community volunteer opportunities will be posted on the website as they become available.

Host A Dress Drive

Interested in hosting a Dress Drive? We collect dresses year-round, and are especially in need of dresses size 00-2 and 14+ Download our Dress Drive Kit today! Questions? Please e-mail sandiego@princessproject.org.

High School Involvement

If you’re in high school and would like to participate in The Princess Project as a volunteer, we welcome your support! Host a dress drive in your school or gather a group of friends in the Spring to help get our dress store ready for Dress Giveaway events. What Volunteers Need To Know

  • Do You Need Volunteers?

    Absolutely, volunteers are key to the success of The Princess Project. Through our Dress Giveaway events and boutique nights, over 600 volunteers help reach thousands of high school teens making their dream prom become a reality. 

  • Are there any requirements to volunteer?

    Volunteers participating in Dress Store Organization days must be 14 years of age or older.  Volunteers participating in our Prom Dress Giveaways must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Can I bring a group to volunteer?

    Yes! We love to have groups volunteer.  If you’d like to bring a group, please email us at volunteersd@princessproject.org
